Local Moving in Canoga Park and the West San Fernando Valley
The bulk of our calendar lives inside a fifteen-mile circle around our Sherman Way office. A jump from a Winnetka bungalow to a Tarzana condo, a Northridge college kid moving into her first Reseda one-bedroom, a Calabasas family swapping a rental for a buy down the road — these West Valley runs are what our crews built their hands on. Because State To State Logistics keeps eight trucks and around eight full-time movers on payroll, we can usually slot a local SFV job inside the same week you ring us up, instead of pushing the booking out a month.
Pricing on the local side is straightforward. A 2-mover crew with a 26-foot truck is $165 an hour. A 3-mover crew goes for $225, and a 4-mover for $285. Blankets, four-wheel dollies, hand trucks, walk boards, and the basic tools needed to break down a bed frame are folded into the hourly rate — there’s no surprise equipment line on the invoice. The clock starts when our truck pulls up to your curb and ends when the last carton is set down at the new place. For smaller homes we’ll write a flat band instead: a studio runs $480 to $680, a one-bedroom $760 to $1,100.
What we run into on West Valley jobs
The Valley throws its own quirks at a moving crew. Third-floor garden-apartment walk-ups around Reseda and Northridge with no elevator. Gated drives in Hidden Hills and Calabasas where the front gate logs every vehicle. Warner Center high-rises along De Soto that require a COI on file before the freight elevator opens. We scope these things before the day so the crew shows up with a plan and the right paperwork already done.
